Holtzapffel.org is dedicated to the renowned 19th C. maker of ornamental turning equipment. It provides the world's most comprehensive collection of information about the Holtzapffel family, their firm, and the lathes they produced.

The centerpiece of the site, The Catalog of Holtzapffel Lathes, will detail the provenance and specifications of 2,557 Holtzapffel lathes.

You'll also find a complete Holtzapffel history, including biographies, genealogy, timeline of notable dates, factory addresses, factory signatures, and other documents. Also included are photos, trade catalogue descriptions, bibliography, glossary of terms, and links to related resources.
